Bald Hill Quarries, NSW is a very long time user of the Equinox quarry application. Previously each quarry operation had its own instance of the quarry application but invoicing for all quarries was done from the one location. This meant that centrally, an up -to-date copy of each database was managed by transferring files of exported transactions.
With Cloud Hosting, all data is up-to-date and accessible from anywhere at any time. In the unlikely event of any communication problem the “store and forward design” enables the weighbridge application to continue ticketing without any intervention.
This customer now has transactions recorded in the same manner from its end loader non- weighbridge quarry. Using the Equinox-Loadrite add-on enables a “no wires” connection between the Loadrite™ and the Cloud.
An 8 inch 3G/bluetooth Android tablet provides the required operator interface. A smart phone can be used as an alternative. The docket is from an in-cab bluetooth printer. An option is available for the docket to be printed at a truck driver collection station for a fully closed cab operation.
